Yin Yoga is a slow and intentional form of yoga done in postures mostly on the floor. Using props as necessary for your body, we surrender into a shape and stay quiet. This stillness brings a sense of harmony and peace, inviting us to explore our inner landscapes with acceptance and compassion - helping to soothe anxiety and encourage us to relax the urge to improve or explain our circumstances. Complementing our daily active lifestyles, this practice is a meditative, gentle style of yoga, and often results in increasing circulation and flexibility.
